Self-Leadership

Players who own their effort, mood and preparation.

A team is only as reliable as the individuals in it. Self-leadership is the habit of taking ownership of your own effort, attitude and preparation, without waiting for the coach to fix it from the sideline.

It is trainable, not a personality trait, and it is what separates players who reach high performance from those who stay at "talented". It is built with personal goals that depend only on you, routines to reset after mistakes and pressure, and the habit of owning your development instead of waiting for a coach to manage it. The guides in this section are for players who want to build it and for coaches who want to develop it in their squad.
